Our Valued Partners.

The Modawa Institute of Higher Education acknowledges and deeply appreciates the support of its valued partners who contribute to its mission and growth. These include the Anglican Church of Papua New Guinea, overseas Anglican Church partners, the Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF), and the Oro Provincial Government. Their ongoing partnership and commitment play an important role in helping the institute provide accessible, holistic, and quality education to the people of Papua New Guinea.

  • Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF)

The Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF) is an Australian-based development organization that has been working in Papua New Guinea since 2003. The foundation focuses on improving the lives and livelihoods of people in PNG through community-driven development projects, particularly in the areas of education, health, and sustainable development.

Originally working in the Kokoda region in Oro Province, KTF’s efforts have expanded to support communities across 17 of PNG’s 22 provinces. KTF’s programs aim to enhance local capacity, provide educational opportunities, and promote sustainable economic growth. Through its projects, KTF also fosters the strong relationship between Australia and Papua New Guinea, preserving the spirit of the Kokoda Track.

KTF is a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and has accreditation under the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s (DFAT) ANCP program.
